mac is a relaxed friendly place for all the family, with a café and lively bar.

The recent £15 million refurbishment has dramatically improved the building with lots more facilities for families, improved access and an even busier programme, particularly for family-oriented activities. And Cannon Hill Park, a busy cosmopolitan park with Green Flag status, is right outside making mac a great choice for a family day out.

Families visiting mac can enjoy a wide range of theatre performances, music, comedy, plays for children, literature and poetry events, courses in several different crafts and creative arts, magical family shows, films and free exhibitions.

Although not all our events and activities are designated Family Friendly, many are and those particularly suited for families are highlighted with the Family Friendly kitemark. Check out some of the forthcoming highlights.
